August started a week back and my blog just went silent. Must confess it was a very hectic week at my end. The 1st and 2nd were spent at Aloft Cessna Business Park, Bangalore where the first ever all India food bloggers meet was organised (#IFBM2014). It was one learning experience to be amidst so many talented bloggers of the country. During the two days long sessions we were exposed to various aspects of blogging and how we could improve on them a few were photography, food styling, food writing and SEO.

Firstly my apologies for the delay in posting the round up. I was down with viral fever and still recuperating. Somehow have mustered up all the energy to post this round up. Event Round Up- Cook Like Mom| Cookbook Winner Announcement

 

Hi All!

Finally I’m able to post the round up of the event… there were many entries from different cuisines with beautiful narration on their mother’s cooking skills. I loved reading and learning from them. Unfortunately, I had to delete many many entries as they did not follow the most important rule of the event, that it should be Mom’s recipe! I’m very happy to share the event round up of ‘Only’- Chilled or Frozen Desserts. The days are still hot in India and summer is fast approaching in the west. Though we are waiting for the heat to subside and the rains to hit but till then to beat the heat you have a variety of cool desserts to try..

Last month I enjoyed using my microwave to the fullest and cooking many recipes in it.
